Rajasthan Royals pacer Trent Boult has dismantled Sunrisers Hyderabad with three wickets in the powerplay.

As RR are up against SRH in the IPL 2024 Qualifier 2, the Royals have made a superb start courtesy of Trent Boult, their premier fast bowler.

The Kiwi pacer started the innings in a fantastic fashion as RR chose to field after winning the toss. Boult picked up the wicket of Abhishek Sharma in the very first over. Then he came back and got the dangerous Rahul Tripathi, followed by the prized wicket of Aiden Markram.

Tripathi's wicket was especially crucial for the Royals as the batter was scoring at an immense pace. The experienced Kiwi pacer thus now has 12 wickets in the powerplay this season, by far the most by any bowler. Boult also breached the three-figure mark in another stellar milestone, as the Royals bowler now has 101 wickets in powerplay in all T20 cricket.
