In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), a concerning incident occurred involving RR's Yashasvi Jaiswal and bowler Sandeep Sharma.
In the 7th over, Jaiswal's throw from the deep accidentally struck Sharma on the left side of his chest near the shoulder blade. Sharma was visibly in pain and appeared displeased by the incident.

In the over, Travis Head hit one straight down the ground and Yashasvi Jaiswal fielded at long-off. As Jaiswal threw the ball, it bumped and hit Sandeep Sharma. The RR bowler was coming back to his run-up and didn't expect the throw from his own teammate. As the ball hit Sharma, he looked in distress immediately and was not happy with the young batter at all. The good thing about Rajasthan Royals is that the injury is not serious and he could continue immediately after that.
Jaiswal immediately raised his hand to apologize, clearly distressed by the unintended outcome. SRH batter Travis Head also seemed surprised by the incident.
Rajasthan Royals saw the funny side of the incident and had reacted on social media. Known for their witty social media activity, a post wrote 'Oops' from the official RR handle on X immediately after the incident.
At that moment, SRH are 115 runs for the loss of one wicket in just 8 overs. Travis Head is showcasing an explosive performance, batting at 56 runs off just 24 balls.
The match has been a high-scoring affair, with SRH dominating the powerplay and continuing their aggressive batting approach. RR's bowlers are under significant pressure to contain the onslaught and shift the momentum in their favor.
