1996 champions Sri Lanka, who confirmed their ticket to India via the qualifiers, will begin their ICC ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against South Africa at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 7.
2023 World Cup Qualifier winner Sri Lanka will then travel to Hyderabad, where they will face Asian rivals Pakistan on October 10 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium before they face record champions Australia on October 16 at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Dasun Shanaka led side will then face fellow qualifiers Netherlands at the same venue in Lucknow on October 21 before the clash against reigning champions England on October 26 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The Lankans will then face fellow Asian side Afghanistan at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune on October 30 followed by a clash against the hosts India in a rematch from 2011 World Cup final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 2.
Four days later on November 6, Sri Lanka return to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where they face Asian rivals Bangladesh before they conclude their round robin stage with a meeting against New Zealand on November 9 in Bengaluru.
If they qualify for the semifinals, the matches will be played either at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai or Eden Gardens in Kolkata, depending on what position they finish on the points table.
The final of the 2023 ODI World Cup is set to be held at the world's largest cricket stadium - Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The top four from the ten teams after the round robin stage will advance to the knockouts.
Sri Lanka will play their round robin fixtures across six venues. Sri Lanka will play two games each in Lucknow, Bengaluru and Delhi, while they will play once in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.
