Bengaluru, August 4: Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Pradeep may not be able to play in the remainder of the ongoing second Test against India at Colombo after picking up a hamstring injury.

Pradeep had picked up the injury on Thursday (August 3). He had limped off the field after bowling four deliveries of his 18th over.

Sri Lankan interim coach Nic Pothas had attributed it to muscle stiffness, however, on Friday (August 4), it was made clear that Pradeep indeed has suffered a hamstring injury.

Nuwan Pradeep is unlikely to play any part in the ongoing second Test against India after picking up a hamstring injury during Thursday's (August 3) play.

The 30-year-old had taken six wickets conceding 132 runs in the first innings of the opening Test against India at Galle.
