Australia have registered their first victory in the ICC World Cup 2023 as they beat Sri Lanka by 5 wickets on Monday (October 16) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

(Feeling on the Performance) Yeah, feel like I feel better. I've bowled better, but sometimes you have those days. Yeah, well, I think that was the caps decision. I said we're going to cheque the officer on against the leftist. So yeah, chance of the 5 foot 5 foot gone. And, yeah, I don't reckon I would have bowled after anyway. My back was pretty sore. (On his Bowling) Personally, not on my best. Yeah, I felt like, particularly last game, I could have done a bit better. My role is to take wickets and haven't quite been doing that to make it easier for the death guys. I feel like I'm a good critic of myself and feel like I can be doing better. Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): Nothing said much on the back of two losses. The energy on the field was great. They started very well. We bowled decently. We stayed at it.
