Asian rivals set to collide in Group D as Sri Lanka take on Bangladesh in match 15 of T20 World Cup 2024 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Friday (June 7).
Wanindu Hasaranga-led Sri Lanka will look to bounce back from a demoralising defeat to South Africa, while Najmul Hossain Shanto’s Bangladesh will look to open their group stage campaign with a win.

One of the two teams will hope to join South Africa in the Super 8 stage from Group D that also includes Nepal and Netherlands. Sri Lanka will be very desperate to get things right after being bundled out for 77 in their tournament opener against the Proteas in New York.
