The injury occurred while he was fielding, forcing him to leave the field prematurely and raising concerns about his fitness ahead of the series decider.

Although the Bangladesh Cricket Board's medical team remains cautiously optimistic, they have yet to confirm whether Shanto will recover in time for the final game.

According to sources, the top-order batter is determined to return to action and is working hard in his rehabilitation in hopes of making a timely comeback for what could be a crucial fixture in the series.
