Sri Lanka vs Ireland weather update: Ireland will fight to save the match on the final day of the second Test as they will resume their day on 54/2 at the Galle International Stadium in Galle on Friday. Skipper Andrew Balbirnie (18*) and Harry Tector (7) will resume the Irish second innings while trailing by 155 runs

Earlier on Day 4, Sri Lanka declared their innings after scoring a mammoth 704/3 with Kusal Mendis (245) and Nishan Madushka (205) scoring double centuries on a belter that saw Ireland score 492 in the first innings. The hosts declared their innings after Angelo Matthews reached his 15th Test ton.
