Sri Lanka will host New Zealand in five white-ball games, starting with the two-match T20I series on Saturday (November 9). The 2 T20Is will be played at the same venue and will be held across two days.

The first T20I will be staged at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, where the second T20I will be held on Sunday (November 10) before the three-match ODI series, which starts on Wednesday (November 13).

Sri Lanka led by Charith Asalanka welcome back Kusal Perera to the side that will include T20I regulars like Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana and Maheesh Theekshana among others.

New Zealand, meanwhile, have handed maiden call ups to bowling-allrounder Nathan Smith and wicketkeeper-batsman Mitch Hay as Mitchell Santner leads the team that also includes the likes of Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell and Lockie Ferguson.

Sri Lanka head into the series on the back of a 2-1 home series win over West Indies, New Zealand last played in the shortest format during the T20 World Cup 2024 in June, when they made a group stage exit. The Blackcaps, however, possess a better record against Sri Lanka.
