
Bengaluru, August 25: The Karnataka State Cricket Association inked a deal with Star Sports to telecast the sixth edition of the Karnataka Premier League to be played from September 1 to 23 across Bengaluru, Mysuru and Hubbali.
The tournament will aired on Star Sports 1, Star Sports HD1 and Hotstar.
With Star Sports on board, the tournament will have enhanced quality of production, especially with the addition of super slow-motion and ultra-motion cameras, along with commentary panel filled with international superstars, including Brett Lee, Michael Hussey, Daniel Vettori and Dean Jones.
The other commentators are ex-India and Karnataka stars Venkatesh Prasad, Sunil Joshi, former Karnataka batsman Fazal Khaleel, former India opener VB Chandrashekar and sports presenter Charu Sharma.
The telecast will be presented by anchors Mayanti Langer and Sanjana Ganesan.
