Sunrisers Leeds celebrate Nathan Ellis's "Cold" delivery in Record Hundred Win - Watch

Sunrisers Leeds created history in The Hundred as they recorded the highest ever total in the competition against London Spirit, thus securing a win by 37 runs.

Amid the batting carnage, there was a special bowling moment which has caught the eye of many, and the Leeds team recalled it after the match.

After the match, Sunrisers Leeds shared a short video on 4 August 2026 captioned "Cold ." The clip highlights Australian fast bowler Nathan Ellis dismissing London Spirit batter James Coles during the men's Hundred match at Headingley.

Ellis delivered a sharp, deceptive ball that completely bamboozled Coles. The batsman was left off-balance and scrambling as the delivery trapped him in front. On-screen text reads "BAMBOOZLED" while Ellis leaps in celebration with his teammates, after the umpire raised his finger for LBW.

This moment came in a high-stakes chase. SunRisers Leeds had batted first and posted a competition-record total of 241 for 2 - the highest score ever achieved in The Hundred. Mitchell Marsh scored 76, Ryan Rickelton remained unbeaten on 94, and Harry Brook blasted 55 from just 18 balls. London Spirit were set a massive target of 242.

Ellis's early strike on Coles, who fell for a duck, formed part of a clinical bowling effort that kept Spirit under constant pressure. The Spirit lost wickets early on and were struggling at 56 for 5, which eventually gave the body blow to them. David Willey came in later and played a superb knock of unbeaten 83 runs, but despite the late fight, London Spirit could only manage 204 for 6 and lost by 37 runs.
