The SC also ordered the BCCI to honour all contractual committments made to the state associations under distinct contractors in the Indo-Australia Test match series.

The Supreme Court also clarified that an officer bearer of the BCCI for nine years can still become part of the state cricket association.

Further the SC said that if a person has been an office bearer in the state association for nine years he cannot be barred from becoming an office bearer of the BCCI.

The 4-Test rubber between India and Australia is currently tied at 1-1. The series decider will begin tomorrow (March 25) at HPCA Stadium. India captain Virat Kohli is doubtful for this crucial match due to shoulder injury.
