But now, such a big tournament has been organized. So, I am very happy that I could participate in such a tournament."

"At first, I was a little nervous while playing the match. But, I got used to it. But, there is a person in my wicket life whom I consider my idol and I have grown up watching him - Dale Steyn from South Africa. I was very inspired by him. So, I just try to emulate his celebration," Suvronil says.

The Star Cast and Journey

Apart from the cricket on the field, the ISPL is boosted with the monumental presence of some stalwarts across fields. Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Srinagar owner and filmstar Akshay Kumar - all graced the ISPL final and Suvronil was in awe. He also got the Catch of the Final award for a fantastic grab.

"I don't know what to say. In the final, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and others - there were many more people with whom I had a great time. They all inspired me a lot. So, it was a unique experience for me to play in such a unique environment. And it was great to get the catch award as well."
