The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 group stages have concluded with a blockbuster clash between Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai on Thursday (December 5).

As the group stages are done now, the focus shifts straight into the knockout stages of the domestic T20 competition. 10 teams have advanced to the knockouts of the SMAT 2024 competition.

SMAT 2024 Knockout Teams

Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Mumbai, Delhi, Baroda, and Saurashtra have advanced directly to the quarterfinals in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Saurashtra earned their spot as the best-performing second-placed team. Meanwhile, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Andhra Pradesh will battle it out in the pre-quarterfinals to secure a place in the next stage. The competition is intensifying as teams fight for glory in India's premier domestic T20 tournament.

There have also been a few surprising eliminations as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Maharashtra won't play any part in the tournament anymore. Also the defending champions Punjab also out of the tournament.

SMAT 2024 Knockout Schedule: Complete List of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Knockout Fixtures

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 will now move to Bengaluru for the knockout fixtures. All the knockouts including the Final will be played at the Garden City, with the final slated to be taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on December 15.

The knockout matches starts on December 9 with the two pre-quarter finals. The ten teams advanced are ranked according to their points at the end of group stages.
