T20 World Cup 2024: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday (May 24) revealed the full list of commentators for the upcoming ICC showpiece event which will be held in the USA and the West Indies from June 2 to June 29.
Four Indians including three World Cup winners in Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri and Dinesh Karthik. Celebrated commentator Harsha Bhogle is also on the list.

Former Australia captain Steve Smith, who hasn't been picked for the T20 World Cup 2024, will also be part of the ICC's T20 World Cup 2024 commentary panel alongside compatriot Aaron Finch.
"Adding to the insights on the modern game, the team will be joined by former Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cup champions such as Dinesh Karthik, Ebony Rainford-Brent, Samuel Badree, Carlos Brathwaite, Steve Smith, Aaron Finch and Lisa Sthalekar," ICC said in their release.
American commentator James O’Brien has also been added to the panel. "Making his World Cup debut, American commentator James O’Brien – better known as Jomboy – will aim to add context to the games for our American audiences," ICC said.
"Dinesh Karthik: "This tournament will be different in many ways, which makes it even more exciting. With 20 teams, 55 matches, and some new venues, it's a thrilling combination, and I can't wait to dive in," Dinesh Karthik told ICC.
“Being part of such a high-class commentary team is a fantastic feeling, and commentating on players I have recently played with makes it even more intet20resting," he added.
South Africa legend Dale Steyn has also expressed excitement, and reckoned that it would be "fascinating to see the different tactics that come into play".
"The Men’s T20 World Cup, with its new format and more teams competing, is a fantastic opportunity to spread the game. I’m sure both old and new cricket fans will be eager for the action to begin," he said.
