T20 World Cup 2024 Jerseys: Kits Revealed So Far For The ICC Show-Piece Event

Reigning champions England will look to defend their title, but face a bigger challenge with 19 other teams set to do battle in the T20 World Cup 2024, starting on June 2 with the group stage followed by the Super 8, and concluding with the final on June 29.

The T20 World Cup 2024 will start with group stage that will see 20 teams divided into four groups of five teams each with every team facing each other in their respective group once to win the right to enter the Super 8 stage as group winners and runners up.

In the Super 8 stage, the eight qualified teams will be divided into two groups each, with the four teams of each group playing each other in their respective group to book a semi-final spot, and from thereon the final of the tournament.

Before the show-piece event starts in June, teams have revealed their jerseys or kits for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies. Every team sports a unique kit for the event and expect wide range of colours on display this year with 20 teams doing battle for the crown.

As it stands, India, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia, Nepal, England and Uganda have all revealed their jerseys, while the other teams including Sri Lanka and the West Indies among others will also unveil their kits very soon.

USA, Oman, Canada, Scotland, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Papau New Guinea, UAE and Afghanistan are yet to reveal or tease their kits. Most teams, however, could still use the kits which they already use. Here is a look at the T20 World Cup 2024 Jersey of teams revealed so far:

T20 World Cup 2024 Jerseys Revealed So Far

India Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The inaugural champions will sport the traditional blue with shades of orange on the sleeves for the show-piece tournament as revealed by the kit manufacturer Adidas.

Pakistan Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The 2009 champions have retained their traditional shades of green and have launched their kit as the "matrix jersey" for the tournament.

Sri Lanka Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The Lankan Lions, who are the 2014 champions, unveiled their jersey on May 10 retain the shade of blue with artwork symbolising everything Sri Lanka - a lion, ocean, flora and fauna - all existing in one realm.

England Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The defending champions have revealed their T20 kit for the men and women's team, retaining their traditional red tops and darker blue trousers for the shorter format.

Australia Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The 2021 champions will sport a predominately green playing kit at the show-piece tournament in June. It features artwork designed by Aunty Fiona Clarke on the sides following on from the Indigenous-themed kit Australia wore in the 2022 tournament.

New Zealand Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The Black Caps, who became the first team to announce their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, have rolled back the years as they are set to sport a Cricket World Cup 1999 inspired kit with shades of grey.

South Africa Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: South Africa, who are in the quest for their first-ever ICC title, released their kit for the T20 World Cup on April 28, retaining the prominent shades of yellow and green.

Namibia Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The African nation revealed their kit, retaining the traditional dark blue strip, with a tinge of red also prominent on the tops.

Uganda Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The African country became the first team to reveal their jersey for the tournament. The debutants sport a predominantely yellow strip, with feathered-inspired patterns that pays homage to the majestic crested crane.

Nepal Jersey for T20 World Cup 2024: The Asian side, who have made some stride in the continent, have released a similar kit to the one worn in previous years, but with the text in yellow alongside trims on either side of the shirt.
