New Zealand has named their 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 on Monday (April 29).
Kane Williamson has been announced as the captain of New Zealand for the tournament, which starts from 1st June in the West Indies and USA.

Leading a squad rich in experience, including the formidable fast-bowling duo Tim Southee and Trent Boult, New Zealand will be gearing up for a strong performance. The team is the first to reveal its 15-member squad for the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup.
Glenn Phillips stands out as a vital player for New Zealand in the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. Devon Conway, who missed out on IPL 2024 due to an injury is also included in the team.
The Kiwis' journey will kick off against Afghanistan in Guyana on June 7. They are set to compete in Group C, facing challenges from co-hosts West Indies, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea in subsequent matches.
Michael Bracewell, who led the Black Caps against Pakistan recently, is also part of the team for World Cup. Ben Sears will travel with the team as a reserve during the tournament.
Finn Allen, a rising star, is deemed one to watch during the tournament. His opening game tactics and drive are expected to make significant contributions to New Zealand's campaign at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.
It will be a challenge for the Black Caps who are yet to win a World Cup in their history. As they name a pretty equipped squad, the men from down under will be expecting to break the duck.
Two special guests for NZC, Matilda and Angus, announced the squad for the Kiwis.
