India have been placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the USA. A total of 20 teams divided in four groups will take part in the group stage. Defending champions England are placed in Group B alongside Australia. Co-hosts West Indies are in Group C with New Zealand.

India will play their first match against Ireland on June 5. The India vs Pakistan marquee event will be held on June 9 in New York. They will face co-hosts USA on June 12 and Canada on June 15 to conclude the group stage campaign.
