Shivam Dube continued his immense form in IPL 2024 with another special knock for Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday (April 23).
The CSK batter played superbly at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, scoring 66 runs off just 27 balls, hitting 3 fours and 7 sixes in it.

Dube is known for his hard-hitting against spinners, which has often forced the opposition captains to bowl pace while he stays at the crease. But he demolished the pacers of Lucknow Super Giants on the night and blasted away with a scintillating batting display.
Dube has now amassed 311 runs in eight innings with an average of 51.8 and a strike rate of 170. He has scored three fifties and has been a class apart this season. Already there have been voices behind his inclusion in the T20 World Cup squad, and that just significantly amplified after the knock against LSG.
Three former India players took to social media and gave their approval for Dube's inclusion in the India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in June.
Former India player Mohammed Kaif believes Shivam Dube is the solution at no. 4 for the Indian team.
"Shivam Dube is perfect to bat after the top order and before the big hitters. Should be India's No. 4 or No. 5 at World T20," Kaif wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) profile.
Former CSK player Suresh Raina pleaded BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar for including Shivam Dube in the Indian team. And to be honest, the way he has decimated the bowling this season, Dube has a big chance of making it to the Indian squad.
Aakash Chopra and Irfan Pathan both think Dube has to be in the Indian team for the World Cup. Pathan also believes the CSK southpaw is the best Indian hitter at the moment.
