Wanindu Hasaranga and co are staying at a hotel which is one and half hours away from the training ground. Also, the Sri Lanka side will be playing their four group stage matches across four venues, while India has the luxury of playing three consecutive matches at the same venue.
The Lankans will kickstart their campaign on Monday (June 3) against South Africa at the Nassau County Stadium in New York. Ireland will also play their first match in New York as they play India on June 5.
