T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 Schedule: Who Plays Who, Where & When in The Super Eights?

T20 World Cup 2024 is down to eight teams from 20 as the Super 8 groups and schedule was finalized on Monday (June 17) when Bangladesh beat Nepal to seal the final spot.

With 20 teams competing for the first time, the show-piece tournament in USA and the Caribbean was the largest in terms of the number of nations participating. The 20 teams had been divided into four groups of five teams each for the first round.

The winners and runners up from each group following the single round robin matches moved into the Super 8, which is further divided into two groups of 4 teams each.

In Super 8, the group winners from A and C were joined by runners up from B and D in Group 1. Similarly, runners up from A and C joined winners from B and D in Group 2. Here is how the Super 8 groups look:

Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand were the surprise eliminations from the group stage, while Netherlands, Ireland, Nepal, Canada, Oman, Scotland, Uganda, Papua New Guinea and Namibia also joined them on the flight back home.

South Africa, Australia, England, India, USA, West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan were the eight teams that confirmed their spots in the Super 8 from Groups A, B, C and D.

The Super 8 matches starts on June 19 and will conclude on June 24. A total of 12 matches will be played across 4 venues in the Caribbean. Here is a look at the venues followed by the fixtures list:
