T20 World Cup 2024: Unhappy with his dismissal in Australia's first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Kensington Oval in Barbados (June 1), veteran opener David Warner by mistake climbed the stairs of the wrong dressing room on Thursday.
The video of the incident has gone viral, and has also been shared by the official social media handles of ICC and T20 World Cup. The left-hand batter smashed a match-winning fifth after the Australian top-order collapsed but he looked unhappy with the way he got out in the death overs of Australian batting innings.

Oman pacer Kaleemullah bowled a short delivery outside off as Warner tried to pump it over long-off, however he did not get the desired connection and was caught in the region by Shoaib Khan. Kaleemullah celebrated wildly after the wicket and kicked in the air as he looked at Warner walking back to the pavilion.
A disheartened David Warner walked all the way back to the pavilion with his head down, and even started to climb the stairs leading up to the Oman dressing room when a staff alerted him.
The 37-year-old apologised straightaway and climbed down and moved towards the Australian dressing room as the commentary panel including Matthew Hayden had a good laugh at the amusing incident.
Warner, who scored 56 off 51 balls, would have thought of capitalising on the final few deliveries, but regardless Australia's 164-run total for the loss of five wickets was enough to grab their first win of the T20 World Cup 2024.
Oman were restricted to 125/9 as the ODI World Cup champions won the game by 39 runs. They will next face England on June 8 at the same venue.
