India's T20 World Cup 2024 gate hangs in the balance as they take on Australia in the final Super Eight match on Monday (June 24) at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia.
After winning two matches in their two Super Eight matches, Rohit Sharma and his team are yet to qualify for the semifinals as Australia was historically beaten at the hands of Afghanistan.

As India takes on Australia, there is a huge chance of rain on Monday in Gros Islet. On Monday morning, there is a rain prediction at the venue and its surroundings. The match is supposed to start at 10:30 am local time, and around 40 to 40 per cent of rain is being predicted from 10 am to 1 pm on the day.
If rain plays spoilsport and cancels out the match, team India and Australia will have to share one point each and conclude the Super Eight stages.
If rain washes out the match in St Lucia, India will finish the Super Eight with 5 points in three matches. That will be enough for team India to qualify for the semifinals as the top-placed team in their group.
Meanwhile, a washout will mean Australia stranded with 3 points in their three matches, giving Afghanistan the fate in their own hands when they play Bangladesh latter.
If Australia's match is washed out, an Afghanistan win will take the Afghans to the Semifinal. If Bangladesh beats Afghanistan, then Australia will go through as the 2nd placed team in the group.
