The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, has reached the knockout stage with intense competition throughout the group and Super Eights phases.
Four teams have secured their semifinal spots: South Africa and India have progressed from Group 1, while England and New Zealand have progressed from Group 2.

The semifinals promise high-stakes drama under lights at iconic venues, with reserve days available in case of weather interruptions. The winners will meet in the final on March 8 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
The tournament began with four groups of five teams each, where the top two from every group advanced to the Super Eights. This second stage intensified the competition, with teams divided into two groups of four, each playing three matches.
The Super Eights phase kicked off on February 21, featuring rematches and upsets that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Teams carried forward points from the group stage against fellow qualifiers, adding strategic depth. Sri Lanka and Pakistan eliminated from Group 2 in the Super 8s, while West Indies and Zimbabwe have also crashed out.
India will take on England in the 2nd semifinal on March 5 in Mumbai, while New Zealand will be up against South Africa in the 1st semifinal on March 4 in Kolkata.
