India's T20 World Cup triumph had multifaceted contributions throughout the final against South Africa.
It was a pulsating encounter which swung like a pendulum and then stayed in India's way at its conclusion. Rohit Sharma's men pulled off a heist on the Proteas to lift their 2nd T20 World Cup title, the first ICC championship win in 11 years.

Virat Kohli batted with his brilliance by scoring those 76 crucial runs. Jasprit Bumrah bowled an excellent spell and Hardik Pandya also got the crucial wickets. Apart from that, Suryakumar Yadav took the splendid catch in the last over to tilt the balance of the match completely in India's favour.
But there were a few other contributions around the match that played a key part in India's victory. They were not huge in stats, but those contributions were pivotal in the course of the match and enhanced the chances of India's victory.
Shivam Dube has been crucified across the T20 World Cup for his batting, but the southpaw stood tall in the all-important final. Dube scored 27 runs off just 16 deliveries, hitting 3 fours and a six. His batting prowess and aggressive approach was necessary for India and helped the team to cross the 170-mark.
Kuldeep Yadav had an off day with the ball, but he made a telling contribution in the field. Kuldeep plucked a crucial catch of Quinton de Kock at fine leg which was significant for team India in their quest. De Kock was batting on 39 and was looking ominous and the wicket of the southpaw was necessary at that stage. It was a very sharp catch as the ball was travelling and probably deserves a bit more credit than it received.
The penultimate over bowled by Arshdeep Singh was a crucial one. The left-arm pacer was under immense pressure but delivered six fantastic balls. He conceded only 4 runs in that over and kept the tight leash on the Proteas batters. In the context of the match, the over from Arshdeep played a huge part in India's victory.
