T20 World Cup 2024: The first batch of Team India players, who left for the USA on Saturday, have landed in New York in the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024 which starts from June 2.
The BCCI on Monday posted a video ofRohit Sharma-led first batch of players landing in the USA. The likes of Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill accompanied the Indian captain.
Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya will be arriving at a later date due to various reasons. While Kohli opted for a mini-break after the IPL 2024, Samson reportedly had some personal work to finish in Dubai. He arrived in New York on Monday. Reports have also suggested that Hardik Pandya is in London, and will join the team in New York soon. All three players have taken permission from the BCCI.
The first batch of players updated the fans of the Indian cricket team with Instagram posts and stories. Rishabh Pant, who is making a comeback to the Indian team after 17 months, spent his day training in the gym. "Jet lag game," he captioned his video.
Ravindra Jadeja, on the other hand, came out for a walk. A posted a series of pictures with a caption reading, "Beautiful weather in NYC."
All-rounder Shivam Dube made a visit to the famous Times Square of New York, while Kuldeep Yadav made a stroll in the Garden City, a village located in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York. Have a look at their Instagram stories.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yuzvendra Chahal and Avesh Khan are among the second batch of players who flew out of India on Monday. India are scheduled to play a warm-up match on June 1 against Bangladesh before kicking off their campaign against Ireland on June 5.
