T20 World Cup: India captain Rohit Sharma and his former Bangladesh counterpart Shakib Al Hasan will feature in their ninth consecutive T20 World Cup in June. The two legendary players are the only two players in the history to feature in all the editions of the T20 World Cup.
While Rohit Sharma will be leading India at the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 which starts from June 2, star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has made a timely return to action and is part of Bangladesh 15-member squad led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.

Rohit Sharma and Shakib Al Hasan have featured in T20 World Cups 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2022. India will kick off their campaign in the 2024 edition against Ireland on June 9. Bangladesh will go against Sri Lanka on June 8 in their first Group D match.
