India batter Virat Kohli has left for USA to join the team on Thursday (May 30).
The majority of the Indian players are already in USA preparing for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which starts on June 1.

India will kickstart their campaign against Ireland on June 5. But ahead of that, they are set to play a warm-up match against Bangladesh on Saturday (June 1).
As team India takes on Bangladesh in this match, the India coach Rahul Dravid will be hoping to field a strong team ahead of their premier encounter. Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja Jasprit Bumrah and the other stars are expected to play a part in it. And the question has arisen whether Virat Kohli will be participating in the match. Kohli had an outstanding IPL season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where he ended up scoring the highest amount of runs and won the Orange cap.
The Indian batter has shown his tremendous class with some scintillating knocks throughout the season and as the focus shifts to the World Cup, there will be a massive responsibility on his shoulders.
Virat Kohli has taken a flight to USA on Thursday and he is likely to reach in New York on Friday morning local time. The India stalwart will join the team Friday itself but he is unlikely to take part in the training session on Friday. When it comes to the match on Saturday, Kohli is set to feature against Bangladesh. India will play just a solitary warm-up match, which Kohli may not want to miss for adaptation purposes. As India play their first match only on Wednesday, the team will be hoping to come unscathed in terms of injuries.
