Yuzvendra Chahal says getting selected for the T20 World Cup is the biggest achievement for him as a cricketer.
The Indian leg-spinner got himself included in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies and the USA.

Chahal has been out of the Indian fray for a long time, but his recent excellence in the IPL 2024 earned him a spot in the Indian team. The player said the India selection overshadows all his heroics during the IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on Thursday (May 2).
"For the World Cup," Chahal said when broadcaster Murali Karthik asked the player on which occasion he should congratulate him.
"We play IPL, domestic cricket to get into the Indian team and that is my biggest achievement," Chahal added.
The leg-spinner recently became the first player to pick 200 wickets in IPL. The 33-year-old has 13 wickets in 10 IPL matches for Rajasthan Royals this season and has been in excellent wicket-taking form.
Chahal was out of the India team contention before the start of the IPL. The leg-spinner got the nod after leapfrogging Ravi Bishnoi, who has been an India regular in the past 12 months or so and was even the no. 1 ranked T20I bowler recently.
India announced their squad for T20 WC recently and Chahal is part of a quartet of spinners for the tournament. Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are the wrist spinners, while BCCI also selected two left-arm spinners in Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel.
