Indian cricketing icon Shikhar Dhawan has been announced as the first player signing for Team India Champions ahead of the highly anticipated second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL).

The celebrated left-handed opener will bolster the Indian side's lineup as they aim to defend their title in the marquee tournament, which kicks off on July 18, 2025.

Known for its electrifying matches, iconic venues, and star-studded lineups, the WCL has captivated fans globally, offering unforgettable moments that reconnect cricket enthusiasts with their legendary idols.

Expressing his enthusiasm over the signing, Sumant Bahl, Co-Owner of Team India Champions, stated, "Shikhar Dhawan adds a lot of flair and strength to our team as we are focused on defending our title as the winners of WCL Season 1.
