Team India forced to eat on Paper Plates standing in a Queue in Barbados amid Hurricane Alert
Team India, after their T20 World Cup victory in Barbados, is still stuck in the Caribbean island country.
A Hurricane named Beryl is set to make landfall on Monday morning (Monday evening in India), which has kept the entire team in Bridgetown for some time.

The team is set to face a delay in their return to India due to Hurricane Beryl. The hurricane is anticipated to cause significant damage as a category 3 storm. Consequently, the team is expected to remain in Barbados until Monday or beyond that.
Hurricane Beryl marks the first of the 2024 Atlantic season and has escalated into a "very dangerous" Category 3 storm as it nears Barbados. The National Hurricane Center forecasts that Beryl will intensify into an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 hurricane upon reaching the Windward Islands late Sunday or early Monday.
Amid the current natural hazard, the Barbados airport has been closed and the flights have been cancelled for an indefinite period. Due to this, the entire team is stuck and their potential arrival to India may be delayed further.
