Team India lands in Delhi: The BCCI on Thursday morning released a special video of the Indian cricket team players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja taking out the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy from a box after landing on Indian soil.

The special flight carrying the Indian team from Barbados landed in Delhi around 6:00 AM amid a warm reception from thousands of fans gathered at the Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The Indian cricket team boarded a special Air India flight from Barbados on Wednesday after being stuck in the team hotel for four days after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, due to Hurricane Beryl.
Family members of the players present in Barbados, BCCI officials, and the members of the Indian media also landed in India on the same flight.
The Rohit Sharma-led contingent cleared the immigration at Delhi airport before boarding the team bus. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were among the first players to board the team bus.
A special cake representing the T20 World Cup Trophy has been also made for the team which will be cut at the team’s arrival in the hotel. Welcome drinks representing the national tricolor have also been arranged.
The T20 World Cup champions will later head to meet PM Narendra Modi at his resident in Delhi. Following the meeting, a charter flight will carry them to Mumbai where an open bus victory parade has been arranged from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium.
In a small event held at the Wankhede Stadium, BCCI secretary Jay Shah will once again hand over the trophy to captain Rohit Sharma.
