Team India practice robbed by rains
Kolkata, May 3 (UNI) After the heat wave that left several cricketers in discomfort on the opening day of the conditioning camp ahead of Bangladesh tour, a thick cloud cover and unseasonal rains could rob the cricketers of their net practice this evening.
Team India's local manager Samir Dasgupta told UNI, ''They will not be able to practise if it rains like this. They might head for the indoor facilities though for sometime. But nothing has been decided as yet.'' It started raining since last evening and gale winds with intermittent rains continued this morning. Met Office sources said the rain could continue till night.
The entire squad is here except V V S Laxman and Dinesh Kaarthik.
While Laxman is down with gastroenteritis, Kaarthik will join after his marriage.
