The Indian cricket team will be given a heroes’ welcome as they land in Delhi four days after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday (June 29).
The team was stuck in Barbados because of Hurricane Beryl which forced the closure of the airport. The players, their families, coaching and support staff and the BCCI officials spend four days in the hotel before flying out of Barbados in a special 'Air India’ flight.

The flight will land in Delhi on Thursday morning around 6 AM. The team would freshen up in their hotel rooms before leaving to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi around 11:30 AM.
As reported by India Today, Post the meeting at the PM’s house, Rohit Sharma and his men will leave for Mumbai in a chartered flight. There will be a 1 km bus parade to the Wankhede Stadium where a small event will be held.
