Team India to take on England at Lords on Sunday

London, June 14 (ANI): Having tasted defeat at the hands of West Indies on Friday, Team India will take on host England at the Lords' on Sunday to remain in the race for semi-finals of the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup tournament.

The day-night Group E match begins 17:30 local time (16:30 GMT) at Lords.

Team India is playing as defending champions and has acquired popularity in the recent times for its resilience and powerful performances, especially in Twenty20 version of the tournament.

The Team India comprise-MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, G Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, RA Jadeja, KD Karthik, Z Khan, P Kumar, PP Ojha, IK Pathan, YK Pathan, SK Raina, I Sharma, RG Sharma, RP Singh.

In other match, the in-form Sri Lanka will meet minnows Ireland in a Group F Super Eight clash of the ICC World T20 Championships on Sunday.

Ireland needs a win, having lost to New Zealand, to stay alive in the tournament. (ANI)
