Many of these USA stars who slayed the giants such as Pakistan, took the long flight away to the USA from their roots in India. Some left to seek greener pastures, while some of them couldn't make it to the top level in Indian cricket and decided to try their luck in the United States.

Monank Patel, the team captain, relocated to the USA to pursue his cricketing career after obtaining a Green Card. He has played on diverse pitches across the country and also conducts coaching clinics for young players.
Saurabh Netravalkar, hailed as the man of the moment, has successfully combined academics and sports. Holding an engineering degree in Computer Science, he works as a senior techie in Silicon Valley. Netravalkar played for India in the U19 World Cup along with the likes of Jaydev Unadkat, Sandeep Sharma and Harshal Patel - but couldn't make it to the higher straits in Indian cricket.

Harmeet Singh, once on the verge of being selected for the Indian team, faced challenges due to indiscipline. He moved to the USA and rediscovered his form, becoming one of the team's most consistent players.
Nosthush Kenjige, born in Alabama to Tamil parents, journeyed from India to the USA. Initially a left-arm medium pacer, he switched to spin. After struggling to break into the Karnataka state side, he moved back to the USA and pursued a career in bio-medical engineering. He rekindled his passion for cricket and now plays for the USA team. He once used to live in Bengaluru but the journey of the USA player is nothing but inspiring.
Milind Kumar, who started promisingly in the Delhi circuit, became a fringe player and moved to Sikkim. Unsuccessful there, he migrated to the USA after the COVID-19 pandemic. His impressive performance in domestic tournaments earned him a spot in the USA team. He came on as a substitute and took a fabulous catch do dismiss Iftikhar Ahmed in the Super Over.
Nitish Kumar, who played in the 2011 World Cup at 16 and he was representing Canada at that time. Nitish, who switched to USA from Canada, hit the winning boundary against Pakistan. Jaspreet "Jessy" Singh, born in New Jersey but raised in rural Punjab, faced exclusion from the US team in 2015. He worked hard to improve his skills and has become a crucial part of the team's pace attack along with Pakistan-born Ali Khan. Jessy has become an indispensable part of the team and perhaps bowled the delivery of his life which dismissed Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
