The third edition of The Hundred starts from Tuesday (August 1). The Hundred is a 100-ball cricket tournament, which is a venture of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
The tournament is played by 8 teams across the length and breadth of England, and includes both men's and women's matches. In this edition, the tournament starts from August 1 and will be concluded on August 27.

There are 8 teams who will participate in this edition of The Hundred- London Spirit, Oval Invincibles, Trent Rockets, Southern Brave, Welsh Fire, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers and Birmingham Phoenix.
Each team play one match each against six opponents and play a double header with their geographically closest rivals. It means that London Spirit will play Oval Invincibles twice, while Trent Rockets vs Birmingham Phoenix, Southern Brave vs Welsh Fire and Manchester Originals vs Northern Superchargers will be played twice in the group stage.
The table toppers go straight into the final. There is an eliminator played between the 2nd and 3rd placed teams and the winner of that match are the second finalists.
It will also be a double header each day as the men's and women's formats run simultaneously. There is generally an afternoon game between the women's, followed by the men's game.
