The fourth edition of The Hundred, featuring the women's and men's competition, is all set to start from Tuesday (July 23) with the group stage and the near month-long tournament will conclude with the final on August 18.
The unique 100-ball tournament, organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), will follow the same pattern as the previous editions and the men's format in which eight city-based teams will compete for the title.

The eight women's teams will be the same as the men's teams - Oval Invincibles, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Trent Rockets, Birmingham Phoenix, Northern Superchargers, Welsh Fire and Southern Brave.
The eight teams will play 32 matches in the group stage across different venues. Each team will play a total of eight matches in the group stage - four home and four away, including one against every other side in the competition and then a bonus match against their nearest regional rivals.
After the league stage is complete, the top three teams will progress to the knockout stage with the first-placed team directly entering the final, where they will face the winner of the eliminator between the second and third-placed teams. The knockouts will be held in London.
The tournament will see some top players, including stars from England, Australia and India compete for different teams. Here is all you need to know about The Hundred Women's 2024 tournament from squads, venues and the schedule:
