Rahul Dravid's tenure as the head coach of India ended in the perfect fashion as team India won the T20 World Cup on Caribbean soil.

It was a perfect swansong for Dravid after the heartbreak in 2023 World Cup, which India lost at home in the Final. Dravid also completed a circle on the West Indies soil, after contrasting results in 2007 ODI World Cup under his captaincy, where India was ousted from the group stages.

'The Wall', as he is popularly known, was emotional after the achievement and the passionate celebration with the trophy depicted that clearly in his eyes. After the conclusion of the celebrations, Dravid asked if there were any offers for he is set to become 'unemployed' again.

"Next week, life will be the same for me. I will be unemployed, that will be the only difference. I am unemployed next week, any offers? I think it's a great moment," Dravid said while laughing to the media.

During Dravid's tenure, India reached the final of the ODI World Cup and World Test Championship. And the wait for the elusive World Cup also ended with the most recent success. As Dravid seeks new challenges, he won't have any shortage of takers in the market.

IPL can be the next step for Rahul Dravid. The former India player was part of the Rajasthan Royals setup as a coach and mentor but is yet to taste success in the franchise league. And if Dravid wants to coach in the IPL, he may have many suitors ahead of IPL 2025. Here are three IPL teams that Dravid may join as the head coach-

Kolkata Knight Riders

The current IPL Champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, can be a perfect destination for Rahul Dravid. With Gautam Gambhir's poets to be the successor of Dravid in the Indian national team, there is a void that needs to be filled. Rahul Dravid, with his pedigree and coaching mentality, can be a perfect option for the Knight Riders.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Royal Challengers Bengaluru had their IPL dream shattered yet again this season. Dravid can take up the coaching role at his hometown team and also the team where he started his IPL career. The 51-year-old will be the most appropriate candidate to commence the next chapter of RCB. The elusive trophy may also come at the Garden City franchise.

Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals may leave Ricky Ponting as their head coach and in that case, Dravid is likely to be a strong choice. Sourav Ganguly is also at the Delhi helm, and Ganguly was instrumental in Dravid becoming the India coach. Hence if there is a vacancy at DC, the just former India coach can be an apt option.
