New Delhi, Sept 23: The last rites of Tiger Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi has been accomplished near Haryana in their ancestral haveli in Pataudi village on Friday, Sept 23. Family members and friends were present at the burial ceremony.

Son, Saif Ali Khan; wife, Sharmila Tagore; and daughters, Soha Ali Khan and Shaba Ali Khan along with close family friends Kareena kapoor and Karishma Kapoor showed a spirit of royalness while bidding Tiger Pataudi their final farewell.

Many politicians along with BJP's Arun Jaitley, Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit, Congress' Digvijay Singh paid their homage to the former Cricketer earlier on the day in the national capital.

Tiger Pataudi, who had been suffering from lung infection, passed away at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday evening. Pataudi was the ninth and last Nawab of Pataudi until 1971, when India abolished royal titles through the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India.
