The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) has announced the retained players for the upcoming 2025 season on Monday (December 30).
The highly-rated TNPL is by far the leading state franchise league in India and it has produced a number of players who have emerged and have showcased their talents in the IPL and bigger stages.

The eight teams of TNPL had the deadline of Monday and they have picked their final retention list ahead of the new season. Apart from Madurai Panthers, all the teams have retained five players each while the Panthers picked only four players.
Chepauk Super Gillies have retained five players. Their most expensive retention is Abhishek Tanwar who has cost them Rs 12 lakh. The other retained players include former KKR player Narayan Jagadeesan.
