Ireland, riding on the back of a hundred from Kevin O'Brien (113), chased down the target with three wickets and five balls to spare. Alex Cusack and John Mooney also scored 47 and 33 (not out) runs while batting at the seventh and eighth spots respectively.

Bangladesh: The Bangla Tigers have also registered the fourth successful highest run chase in the World Cup. In the 2019 edition, West Indies scored 321/8 in 50 overs in Taunton. A blistering hundred by Shakib Al Hasan (123* off 99) and 94 not out runs from Liton Das, who batted at number five in the match, saw Bangladesh chase down the total in 41.3 overs for the loss of just three wickets.
Sri Lanka: In the 1992 World Cup, Sri Lanka made light work of a 313-run target set by Zimbabwe. Andy Flower scored a hundred to help Zimbabwe finish at 312/4 in 50 overs. Arjuna Ranatunga top-scored for Sri Lanka with 61-ball 88 as Sri Lanka chased the target with three wickets and four balls remaining.
