Shivam Dube got out for a second consecutive golden duck in the IPL 2024 after being named in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star, who was dismissed for a first-ball duck against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 1, got out on the first ball once again against the same team on Sunday, May 5.

Dube was trapped in front of the stumps off left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar on the first ball of his innings in the previous match. At the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, it was Rahul Chahar, who dismissed Dube. The right-hander was trying to cut a delivery on the back foot. He ended up giving a catch to wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma in the process.
