Adelaide, March 20: One of the best fast bowling spells at ICC World Cup 2015 was witnessed at the Adelaide Oval today.
; Report; World Cup Special
Pakistan's left-arm paceman Wahab Riaz had Shane Watson of Australia in all sorts of trouble during their quarter-finals on Friday. (Semi-final schedule)

The crowd at the Adelaide Oval and millions on TV enjoyed every ball of the contest between Riaz and Watson. It was cricket at its best.
Eye contacts, few words, fans backing the bowler and the white ball flying. Everything was happening in this match after Pakistan were bundled out for 213 and Riaz was in no mood to surrender easily.
After all the hard work, Riaz should have been rewarded with Watson's wicket (batsman was on 4 then) but Rahat Ali dropped an easy catch. It was nicely set up and the batsman fell into the trap of hooking the bowler but fielder did not support.
Riaz was furious to see the catch being grassed at the boundary. Finally, it was a case of Watson (64 not out) winning the battle, having survived, thanks to Rahat's mistake. And Australia won by 6 wickets to set up a semi-final meeting with India.
The best memory of this match - Riaz versus Watson.
