U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025: Schedule, Squads, Telecast & Live Streaming Details

The second edition of the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup is set to be staged in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2 with 16 teams battling for the title, starting with the group stage followed by the Super Six and the knockout round.

A total of 41 matches will be played across the next two weeks as four venues in Malaysia will host the tournament that provides an exciting platform for emerging stars to showcase their skills on the global stage.

The tournament begins with the group stage that will see the 16 teams divided into four teams of four groups. Here is a look at the groupings of the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup:

U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 Groups

  • Group A: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, West Indies
  • Group B: England, Ireland, Pakistan, USA
  • Group C: New Zealand, Nigeria, Samoa, South Africa
  • Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Scotland

U19 Women's T20 World Cup Format

Group Stage Rules

  • Each team will play against every other team in their group, and the top three from each group will progress to the Super Six League stage.

Super Six League Rules

  • The top three from Group A will face two qualifiers from Group D, while teams from Group B will compete against two qualifiers from Group C.
  • Points earned in matches against other qualifying teams in the group stage will carry forward to this stage.

Semi-final and Final

  • The top two teams from each Super Six League will advance to the semi-finals, which is scheduled to be held on January 31, with the final set to be played between the winners of the two semifinal on February 2.

While the group stage opens with six clashes on the opening day - January 18 and concludes with another double header on January 23, the Super Six stage will take place from January 25 to January 29.

The second edition of the tournament opens with matches from Groups B, C, and D. In Group B, England will face Ireland in Johor, and Pakistan will play against the USA.

Group C matches will see Samoa take on Nigeria and New Zealand face South Africa in Sarawak, while Group D fixtures include Australia against Scotland and Bangladesh taking on Nepal in Selangor.

Defending inaugural champions India will open their campaign against West Indies on the second day of the competition - Sunday, January 19, when hosts Malaysia face Sri Lanka in the other Group A clash. Here is a look at the full fixtures list followed by squads and telecast details:
