Uday Saharan, Muhseer Khan, Sachin Dhas and Saumy Pandey are the three players from India who have found place in the U19 World Cup 2024 team of the tournament. Saharan finished the U19 World Cup 2024 as the leading run-scorer.
The right-hand batter scored 397 runs in seven matches at an average of 56.71 and a strike rate of 77.69. Musheer Khan finished behind him in second. He scored 360 runs including two hundreds at an average of 60 and a strike rate of 98.09. Dhas was fifth with 303 runs at an average of 60.60 and a strike rate of 116.53.

Left-arm spinner Saumy Pandey was the second-highest wicket-taker in the U19 World Cup 2024. He picked 18 wickets at an average of 10.27 and an economy rate of 2.68. He registered three-wicket hauls.
India lost the final against Australia in Benoni on Sunday by 79 runs. Three players - Harry Dixon, Hugh Weibgen and Callum Vidler - from the champion team have found a place.
Dixon, who has the flair of David Warner in him, scored 309 runs at an average of 44.14. Australia captain Hugh Weibgen was also in top form, scoring 304 runs at an average of 50.66. Pacer Callum Vidler (14 wickets in six matches) is the third player from the list in the name.
Ubaid Shah, younger brother of Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah, is the only player from Pakistan to get into the ICC U19 World Cup team of the tournament. Kwena Maphaka, the leading wicket-taker (21) of the tournament, is the second player from South Africa, alongside opener Lhuan-dre Pretorius (287 runs at 57.40).
West Indies all-rounder Nathan Edward, who scored 101 runs at an average of 50.50 and picked 11 wickets at 17.81, has also found a place in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 team of the tournament. Scotland's Jamie Dunk is the twelfth man.
