Kolkata, June 10. Novus Royals Purulia stayed unbeaten in Bengal T20 League Season 3. They beat Rashmi Nes Medinipur Wizards by seven wickets. The match was a six-overs-a-side game at Eden Gardens on Wednesday. Earlier, Shrachi Rarh Tigers beat Murshidabad Kings by 59 runs. The result came under the DLS Method.

Novus Royals clinch rain-shortened chase

The Medinipur Wizards batted first after rain delays. The game was cut to six overs a side. They reached 74 for 3 in their quota. Abhishek Das scored 24 not out from 14 balls. Aishik Patel hit 22 from 13 balls. Subham Sarkar added 12 from four balls.

Novus Royals used three bowlers to share the wickets. Pritam Chakraborty took one wicket. Pradipta Pramanik took one wicket. Mithilesh Das also claimed one wicket. In the chase, Novus Royals replied with 75 for 3. They reached the target in 5.5 overs.
