India's head coach Rahul Dravid had an amazing farewell match with the national team. His tenure ended with the Indian team winning the T20 World Cup, a glory which arrived after a gap of 17 years.
The former India captain was at the helm of the team since 2021, when he was appointed after the departure of Ravi Shastri.

Under Dravid's tenure, India won the Asia Cup and reached the finals of WTC Championship and 50-over World Cup, losing both of them. But it was a massive redemption for the entire team as they registered a historic T20 World Cup triumph, beating South Africa by 7 runs in the championship clash.
Rahul Dravid's time as the India coach was extended after the World Cup last year. But the 51-year-old confirmed that he won't be applying for an extension. India captain Rohit Sharma also tried to convince Dravid but in vain. And after finishing the T20 World Cup as champions, this is a fitting end for the 'Wall' of Indian cricket.
Dravid, who is known as a composed person, showed his raw emotion while celebrating with the trophy. The animated celebration of the India head coach depicted the importance of the victory, especially in his final hurrah.
After the match, the India legend spoke hilariously about unemployment and asked the journalists for any offers on the table.
"Next week, life will be the same for me. I will be unemployed, that will be the only difference. I am unemployed next week, any offers? I think it's a great moment," Dravid said with a smile on his face which left the journalists in splits.
Apart from Dravid leaving, India also saw a mass retirement as captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja all announced their retirement from the T20I format.
