UP Warriorz injury update, team news, key players
UP Warriorz had to make one squad change before their last game with Shivali Shinde replacing the injured Laxmi Yadav in the squad. There's, however, no fresh injury concern going into the game
Alyssa Healy takes pressure off her with 96*
UP Warriorz skipper Alyssa Healy showed her class with a 96 not out in a successful run-chase against RCB on Friday night. Her spitfire knock saw the yellow-clad outfit chase down 139 in just 13 overs while sounding a warning bell for Mumbai Indians.
Healy also changed her opening partner for the game as misfiring Shweta Sehrawat was dropped in the middle-order for Devika Vaidya, who scored 20-ball 23 in the last game to show her batting credentials.
Vaidya also made the most of the promotion with a 36* (31) in an unbeaten opening stand while solving opening worries for the franchise. However, she might not bowl much in the coming days as the leg-break bowler was handed just an over across two games.
It will be interesting to see how Sehrawat will now adapt to life in the middle order and if she will bat ahead of Tahlia McGrath and Kiran Navgire.
Tahlia, who has been the No. 1 batter in the format, announced herself to WPL with an 89* against Delhi and must be egging for more runs while Navgire also scored a half-century in the first game but her consistency remains in doubt.
UP Warriorz also learned it the hard way in the game before that their batting line-up will always be incomplete without Grace Harris as they failed to chase against Delhi Capitals.
The Australian all-rounder, who boasts of a strike rate of 170-plus in T20Is and scored a match-winning 26-ball 59* in the first game, was dropped from the side right after in favour of the overseas pacer Shabnim Ismail.
The South African pacer was certainly the best pacer in the line-up with a spell of 1/29 while southpaw seamer Anjali Saravani has been leaking runs in return for just a wicket in three games.
However, the overseas limitation led to the axe of Ismail, who made space for Harris in the line-up, which also meant UP Warriorz pace bowling worries remain unresolved. Harris, a spinner, was asked to start with the new ball but was ineffective in that role.
Simran Shaikh is another lower-order batter on the team but her abilities remain a mystery for now.
Ecclestone and Deepti effective in death overs
It won't be a surprise if UP continue without an overseas pacer as Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma have been doing good work with the ball and have been especially effective in the slog overs.
Ecclestone bowled a 4/13, two of which came at the death while Sharma bowled a 3/26 while blocking runs in the slog overs again.
The team's third spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad hasn't been picking wickets in bunches but the leg-spinner has the knack of picking big wickets with dismissals of Meg Lanning and Smriti Mandhana over two games.

Mumbai Indians women injury update, team news
There are no injuries reported from Mumbai Indians camp on the eve of the match. The Harmanpreet-Kaur side is a force to reckon with this tournament as the team management found their winning combination early in a team that has deep batting and bowling depth.
Yashtika Bhatia a delight to watch batting
Yashtika Bhatia was a delight to watch in Mumbai Indian's last game as the opener played some of the best strokes on the night. Unlike other games, where she let Hayley Matthews be the aggressor in the opening stands, Bhatia took a good measure of the Delhi bowlers with 41 runs in the 65-run partnership.
The innings was in good light as it came after she showed good touch in the match before with a 19-ball 23. Bhatia, however, missed out on a half-century and would like to change that against UP Warriorz.
Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt on a run-scoring spree
Opener Hayley Matthews has done a commendable job with the bat this summer and put herself in the race for the Orange cap as she is right behind Delhi Capitals skipper Meg Lanning on the leaderboard.
The West Indies captain continued with her good form as she scored a 32 in the last game while chasing after scoring 77 and 47 in the previous outings. Matthews has been influential with the ball as well with six wickets in back-to-back games.
Nat Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur are providing solidity in the middle order with the former scoring 23* and 55* in the last two innings. Nat has been among wickets as well with three wickets in three games but failed to pick any in the last game.
Skipper Kaur, who bats at No. 4, is asked to carry less of a burden with the top-order firing but is already in good touch with a 65 in the first game leaving no doubt about it.
Amelia Kerr and Pooja Vastrakar haven't been bothered much about batting responsibilities yet but both of them carry the reputation of hard hitters. Kerr also scored an impactful 24-ball 45 against Gujarat Giants.
The duo, however, has fared well with the ball as leg-spinner Kerr took four wickets in the first two games before going wicketless in the last spell (0/29). Vastrakar, on the other hand, is used sparsely with just four overs in three games. In the last two games, she bowled an over each but picked wickets in both overs.
Options aplenty for MI in the bowling
Pacer Issy Wong, also a lower-order batter, has been leading the Mumbai pace attack and showed that she could be more dangerous when the ball is new with another productive spell of 3/10 against DC.
She also delivered a 1/7 (3 overs) in the first game while starting with the new ball but skipper decided to try her after the powerplay in the next game and the pacer conceded 18 runs in two overs.
Wong has plenty of assistance in the pace department with Sciver, Vastrakar and Jintimani Kalia as other seamers on the team.
Shaika Ishaque on a wicket-taking spree
There is further depth in the spin department with Hayley Mathews finding partners in Saika Ishaque and Amelia Kerr. Ishaque, in particular, has been fond of the season with nine wickets in three games.
The left-arm off-spinner has enjoyed bowling at the DY Patil more with spells of 3/13 (last match) and 4/11. Ishaque delivered a 2/28 at the Brabourne, which is tonight's venue with spinners Kerr and Matthews from the other end.
