UP-W vs RCB-W Dream11 prediction, WPL 2023: Who are the best fantasy picks for UP-W vs RCB-W Dream11? UP Warriorz vs Royal Challengers Bangalore pitch report, injury update, key players

UP-W vs RCB-W Dream11 prediction UP Warriorz vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, WPL 2023 UP Warriorz will face off with Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 13 of the Women's Premier League 2023 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST.

Third-placed UP Warriorz will look to consolidate their position against bottom dwellers Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have turned out to be the bogie team of WPL 2023 by conceding all their five games.

This is the second match between the franchises with Alyssa Healy-led UP Warriorz taking the last tie at the Brabourne Stadium by 10 wickets on March 10. Healy was star in that game with a knock of 96 not out.

No fresh injuries have been reported from the UP Warriorz camp since injured Laxmi Yadav replaced Shivali Shinde in the line-up.

Alyssa Healy in prime form

UP Warriorz skipper Healy has hit the top gear with back-to-back half-centuries. Following her match-winning 96* against RCB at the Brabourne, the opener scored 58 against Mumbai Indians, albeit for a losing cause.

Healy's new opening partner Devika Vaidya, who scored 36* on being promoted top the order, had an off-day as she only scored 6 runs in the last game but it is unlikely that the batter will lose her spot.

Explosive batter Kiran Navgire continues to blow hot and cold as she scored 17 in another one-dimensional batting effort while her 53 on WPL debut feels like a distant memory. On her day, however, the out-of-favour Indian batter is an unstoppable force.

Tahlia McGrath key in middle-order

Being as effective as her captain, World No. 1 T20 batter Tahlia McGrath scored another half-century (50) after scoring 90 in her innings prior. Both the innings, unfortunately, came for losing causes.

Grace Harris to return?

However, the need for Grace Harris was felt again as UP Warriroz lower order lacked the venom to score quickly to take the score to a competitive total. The likes of Simran Shaikh and Deepti Sharma not doing the heavy lifting.

The team management's decision to opt for overseas pacer Shabnim Ismail instead also didn't get the desired result as she went for 34 runs in 3.4 overs for no wickets.

The DY Patil pitch, on the other hand, has been more beneficial to the spinners and may pave the way for Harris to return to the line-up.

Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone remain key in bowling

Deepit Sharma (0/30) and Sophie Ecclestone (1/30) were not as effective as they were expected to be against an in-form Mumbai batting line-up at the Brabourne. However, up against RCB on a spin-friendly DY Patil, the duo will be at forefront of UP bowling. They have taken 13 wickets together and have been effective with their yorkers in the death overs.

The team's third spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad hasn't been picking wickets in bunches but the leg-spinner has the knack of picking big wickets with dismissals of Meg Lanning and Smriti Mandhana, Yashtika Bhatia over three games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore injury update, team news

There's no injury concern for RCB as well but the side is desperate to put their first points on the table after losing all their five matches.

Smriti Mandhana's struggles continue

The unwanted results reflect on the form of their captain as well. The southpaw opener scored a discolour 15-ball 8 knock and has just 90 runs to her name in five innings. Another Indian star in the team, Richa Ghosh found some form in the last game with a 16-ball 37 after scoring just 41 runs in the last four games.

The explosive wicketkeeper-batter looked in her familiar avatar, slamming three sixes and as many boundaries and could finally solve the lower-order fallacies of the team.

RCB's hopes hinge on Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine

Ellyse Perry scored back-to-back half-centuries and has now scored 151 runs in her last three innings. Sophie Devine got out after a good start 19-ball 21 but has been firing runs as well with knocks of 36 and 66 prior to that.

England captain Heather Knight is yet to make a sizeable contribution with both bat and the ball but the all-rounder is capable of turning the match around on her own and RCB will be hoping the English star will make an impact with the conditions favouring her.

Youngsters Shreyanka and Diksha Kasat also add further depth to the RCB lower order. Their batting, in fact, stretches as low as Megan Schutt, who is capable of throwing her bat around.

Patil is also important for the side in death overs as the off-spinner showed her ability to bowl yorkers at the fag ends of the innings. There was another valuable addition to the line-up in leg-break Shobana Asha, who took 2/27 in the last game and will be a headache less in the team selection for Mandhana.

Left-arm spinner Preeti Bose was handed just an over and she claimed a wicket in it while giving away 12 runs but may have a bigger role in Wednesday's game.

Schutt also bowled a decent spell in the last game and got the wicket of Shafali Verma in the first over with her trademark inswinger that left the Delhi Capitals opener stunned.

Her new-ball partner Renuka Singh, however, is yet to figure out how to ball in Indian conditions as she again leaked runs (31 runs in 2.4 overs).

UP Warriorz vs Royal Challengers Bangalore pitch report UP-W vs RCB-W

DY Patil Stadium appeared much slower than before in the last match with spinners finding it more comfortable to bowl in. There was early movement on the offer for seamers as well. Anything above 170 could be a task to chase while the square region of the boundary is shorter and is often targetted by the batters.
